Lisa Matfess
We proudly serve Augsuta, Evans, Martinez, Aiken, North Augusta, Grovetown, Hepzibah, and surrounding areas. Lisa is licensed in Georgia, North and South Carolina, Florida and Colorado. Lisa Matfess is a highly skilled and versatile insurance agent, specializing in Medicare, Health, and Life Insurance. She obtained her degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1987 and has since amassed twenty years of experience in the insurance industry. As a licensed Health & Life Insurance Counselor, Lisa’s expertise extends to assisting senior citizens in navigating the complex decisions surrounding Medicare options. Her dedication and knowledge have earned her a stellar reputation in this field.
Outside of her professional life, Lisa has been happily married to her husband for 33 years. They have a daughter who is a professor of Political Science at the University of Denver. In her leisure time, Lisa indulges in her passion for travel, particularly to sunny destinations, and enjoys the experience of shopping.
Lisa began selling Medicare supplement plans nearly 20 years ago with Benefit Coordinators of Augusta, initially starting as an administrative assistant before transitioning to a full-time salesperson. Benefit Coordinators later merged with ACHS Insurance Augusta, where Lisa continued to focus on Medicare. ACHS was subsequently acquired by Acrisure Insurance, which retained the local name ACHS Insurance during the transition. In 2022, Lisa left ACHS Insurance and Acrisure to establish a smaller agency with a targeted focus on all things Medicare.
With over 1000 clients, Lisa is ready to put that knowledge to work for you.
